Homeschool Day - Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
Visit Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill for a discount on their monthly homeschool day. $10 each for ages 6 and up. Explore the 34 remaining structures in The History Centre, visit The Farm for a chance to see the animals. Or take a hike and enjoy the 3,000 acre Preserve. Join us on Thursdays from 11 AM - 1 PM at College Park in Winchester for Gym and Swim! We will spend 45 min in the gym, take a brief break, and then an hour in the pool. $5 facility fee per child. $10 fee for parents who would like to swim.
Ale-8 Factory Tour
For almost a century, Winchester has been home to Kentucky’s Official Soft Drink, Ale-8-One®. Locally known for its iconic green glass and secret family recipe, join us to learn about the history and journey of becoming a fan favorite that has stood the test of time. Please meet us 15 minutes before our free tour time.
Sky Bridge Hike
Weather permitting, join us for a beautiful winter hike at Sky Bridge. Bring a picnic to enjoy. This trail does include steep drops and numerous steps. Please keep that in mind for little ones.
Rock Bridge Hike
Join us at the Trailhead to enjoy amazing views of Creation Falls, Rock Bridge (a natural arch stretching over the creek), and the surrounding forest. This 1.4 mile loop is considered moderately challenging and can be muddy depending the weather. Dress accordingly and bring a bottle of water and snack.

Sky Bridge Hike
Join us at the Sky Bridge parking area in Red River Gorge for a free fall foliage hike. The trail is a one mile loop with numerous steps and steep drop offs. Be cautious with younger children. Remember to bring water bottles and a picnic for your family. We look forward to seeing you there!
Pumpkin Time
Join us for our Wandering Homeschool Pumpkin Patch Field Trip! Enjoy a wagon ride through the orchard, pick your own pumpkin to take home, receive two apples per participant, and have fun with the corn maze, petting zoo, and play area.
Bring a packed lunch or grab something tasty from the snack bar. Come celebrate the fall harvest with friends. $12 per participant. Payment required by Oct 5th.
